Google has not exactly been doing great lately. Google+ is getting crushed by Facebook and Android has not been getting the best press the past few months. However, all that can change in an instant. If Project Glass lands te way the company thinks it is going to we would effectively change the way we see the world.

I had a conversation today about how different our generations techno-savvy is to our parents. Sure they put a man on the moon but think of the computing power most smart phones have these days. The world we live in is becoming more and more entwined with technology and it does not show any signs of changing.
I often find my self defending the technological leaps and bounds to baby boomers. As I call them the generation to afraid to type on a screen to get an Iphone. I know the dangers of dependance on our gadgets. We have all seen Terminator but every time Google streamlines some mundane task I’m the first one on bored. However this video has me reconsidering just how dependent we become on mechanical systems of our own design.
A quick side note: Amazing work Patrick Clai, you managed to take an otherwise dry topic and breath life into it through your motion graphics. That is the bench mark for great design.
